Are you just getting started on your journey? We can help!
In addition to financing, there are many other options to finance your fertility journey, including:
- Corporate benefits
- Home equity lines of credit
- Tax benefits / deductions
- Savings on medication
Navigating these benefits can be challenging, but worth the time. For more information and resources, including how to speak to your employer about adding fertility benefits at your company, email us. Or, click below for a list of resources:
In vitro fertilization (IVF) has been a practice for decades now – the first IVF birth occurred in 1978, and in 1982 the first baby from an egg donation was born. Since then, egg freezing and embryo preservation have also become increasingly common. However, finding the right clinic for you can be a personal and difficult decision.
For advice on how to select an IVF clinic, or information about clinics in your area, email us. Or, click below for a list of resources:
Even though traditional surrogacy dates back ages, gestational surrogacy is a comparatively recent development that’s been around for more than 30 years. A gestational surrogate—sometimes called a gestational carrier—doesn't share any genetics with the baby she carries. Instead, the egg and sperm comes either from a donor (or donors) or from the Intended Parents.

All applicants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents (including any co-signers) in a qualifying state. Intended Parents may apply as individuals, as a couple, or with a co-signer.
Intended parents may qualify for financing if they meet the applicable criteria such as a high credit score. Product and rates are not available in all markets. Not all lenders are available to lend in all states.

How do I qualify for a fertility loan? Do borrowers need a certain amount of assets to qualify?
You do not. Approval will be case dependent based on income, assets, and additional factors.
Can borrowers apply individually or with a co-signer?
Yes, a borrower may apply for credit individually, or two Intended Parents may apply for credit jointly. Co-signers are also welcome and do not need to be a relative of the Intended Parents.
What is the APR?
The Fixed Annual Percentage Rate for our surrogacy loans range from 2.25% (with discounts) to 7.75%. For applicants pursuing IVF, egg freezing, embryo freezing, or egg donors, we work with a partner lender. Applicants may qualify for a personal line of credit of up to $100,000 with an APR ranging from 5.99% - 18.85% (with AutoPay) to cover the cost of medical expenses, travel, and medication. Please inquire for details.
What can the loan be used for?

Will the interest rate change throughout my journey?
No, the interest rate remains fixed.
Can the intended parent(s) pay back the origin loan early?
Yes, the loan can be paid back early without incurring a penalty.
What if intended parents move while still under Origin’s financing plan?
Once the loan has been originated, you may move within the United States without affecting your loan. Intended Parent(s) must be a legal resident an eligible state when the loan is originated.
